UHMWPE inner liner, also known as ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene inner liner, can be regarded as a "anti-wear armor" or "anti-blocking slide plate" tailor-made for industrial equipment. It is mainly used to solve two very troublesome problems in industrial production: material blockage and equipment wear.
The UHMWPE inner liner is a hard sheet made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (a special engineering plastic with a molecular weight of over 1.5 million) through molding or extrusion processes. It is installed on the internal surfaces of equipment such as silos, chutes, hoppers, and dump truck bodies, serving as a protective and functional lining.

Where is it mainly used?
- Electricity / Cement / Coal Mine Industry: On the inner walls of coal bins, mine bins, limestone bins, and cement storage areas, it is the most popular solution for preventing blockages and wear. It can completely solve the problem of blockages caused by damp materials, allowing the materials to "flow smoothly".
- Steel/Metallurgical Industry: Used in ore hoppers, coke conveyors, sintering bins, etc., to withstand the severe wear caused by hard materials.
- Port/Terminal: Applied in the ship unloading machines, belt conveyors, transfer chutes, and material hoppers of the stacker-reclaimer to enhance the efficiency of bulk cargo handling.

- Unmatched durability: This is its most crucial attribute. Among all known plastics, its durability ranks first. It is 6-7 times more durable than ordinary carbon steel and over 10 times more durable than stainless steel. This means it can effectively resist the long-term erosion and wear caused by materials (such as coal, ores, and sand), significantly extending the lifespan of equipment.
- Excellent self-lubrication: Its friction coefficient is extremely low (typically ranging from 0.07 to 0.11), similar to that of water and ice. This "innate lubrication" implies:
- Anti-clogging: Even damp or sticky materials are difficult to adhere to the surface of the plate, and can smoothly slide off, effectively solving the problems of "bridging" and "arching" in the silo.
- Low energy consumption: The resistance of material flow is low, which can reduce the power consumption of the conveying equipment.
3. Superior impact resistance: Its impact resistance ranks among the best in plastics. Even at -60℃, it maintains high toughness and can effectively absorb the huge impact force generated when materials fall, protecting the equipment base from damage.
4. Good non-stick property: The surface tension is extremely low, making it difficult to adhere to other materials. This further enhances the anti-clogging effect and also makes cleaning easier.
5. Other advantages: It also possesses excellent resistance to chemical corrosion, is non-toxic and harmless (can be directly in contact with food), and has a low water absorption rate.
