Advantages of Drainage System




They don’t corrode: Unlike rigid, cast-iron drainage pipes, plastic pipes don’t corrode, and they offer excellent resistance to most types of chemicals – including most strong acids, alkalis and solvents, as well as fats, brine mineral oils, and alcohols.
Resilience: Another advantage of plastic pipe is how resilient it is. It will resist corrosion almost anywhere, including when it is buried under your yard or embedded in a concrete slab. This explains why the pipes running to your septic system or sewer line are almost always plastic regardless of the type of pipes inside your home.
They’re better for the environment: The manufacture of plastic pipes requires much less energy than the production of their rigid counterparts – meaning that they have a much smaller environmental footprint and a lower impact on global warming.
