HDPE rib reinforced pipe is a kind of high-performance buried drainage and sewage pipeline.
You can think of it as the "enhanced version" of traditional pipe materials. It is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and is produced through an extrusion molding process. It is a kind of structural wall pipe material. What makes it special is its pipe wall structure: the outer wall is wavy, and in the middle of the wavy pattern, there is a vertical inner rib for reinforcement, just like adding a support column in an arch structure, which greatly enhances the stability and compressive strength of the pipe material.
Core features and advantages
The pipe and soil jointly resist pressure, and the ring stiffness is high. The corrugated structure on the outer wall of the pipeline is closely integrated with the backfill soil, forming a "pipeline-soil" force-bearing system. Combined with the upright inner ribs structure, the ring stiffness is highly stable, and it is very suitable for complex geological conditions such as beneath car lanes and soft soil foundations.
The connection is reliable and can achieve zero leakage.The main connection method is socket-welding, where the socket of the pipe and the plug are integrated together. This design effectively prevents groundwater from seeping in and sewage from leaking out, thus avoiding secondary pollution to the environment.
Corrosion-resistant and with a long service life. HDPE material has excellent resistance to chemical corrosion and can withstand the erosion of acidic and alkaline substances in domestic sewage and industrial wastewater. Its designed service life is usually over 50 years.
Flexible and resistant to subsidence. The pipe material is a flexible type, which can better adapt to the uneven settlement of the foundation. It is particularly suitable for areas with poor geological conditions such as coastal reclamation areas and soft soil regions.
The inner wall is smooth and has a strong conveying capacity. The inner wall of the pipe is smooth, with low friction resistance. Under the same diameter, its conveying capacity is much higher than that of concrete pipes.
Green and environmentally friendly. During the production process of pipe materials, no pollutants are generated, and the used pipes can be 100% recycled and reused, making it an environmentally friendly and green product.
