The main weaknesses and limitations

Sensitive to temperature: Suitable for applications where the water temperature does not exceed 45℃. It cannot be used for hot water transportation. The material will become brittle at low temperatures. During winter construction and operation, measures should be taken to prevent freezing.

Poor impact resistance: The material is relatively hard and brittle. During construction and transportation, it is necessary to prevent impacts such as bumps, collisions, drops, and compressions to avoid physical damage.
Thermal expansion and contraction are obvious: The coefficient of linear expansion is relatively large. In pipeline design, temperature compensation measures need to be considered, such as installing expansion joints.
Not suitable as an electrical conduit: As it is an insulator, it cannot serve as the grounding circuit for the wires, thus it cannot be used as an electrical conduit.
