PVC-U hollow spiral pipe
This is a "three-layer two-chamber" composite structure.
Inner wall: There are 6 triangular spiral reinforcing bars, spaced approximately 50mm apart, spiraling to guide the water flow to rotate and fall along the pipe wall, forming a water film flow, avoiding waterfall-like impact.
The "T"-shaped cavity between the hollow layer and the inner and outer walls acts like soundproof glass, blocking the transmission of sound.
Outer wall: Smooth and flat, facilitating connection with accessories and ensuring the integrity of the piping system.
How does it achieve "quiet drainage"?
Its noise reduction effect can reach 65% - 70%, and the noise is only 30% - 50% of that of ordinary PVC drainage pipes. The specific principle is as follows:
- Reduce impact noise: The spiral ribs guide the water flow to rotate along the wall, forming a hollow air core. This prevents intense collisions between water flows and between water and the pipe wall, thereby reducing the "splash" sound.
- Stable pressure: Ensure that the center of the riser is completely connected throughout the up and down direction, balancing the positive and negative air pressure within the pipeline (with fluctuations of only 20-40 mm of water column), eliminating the common "gurgling" sound (water blockage phenomenon) found in ordinary pipelines.
- Physical sound insulation: The hollow layer within the pipe wall acts as a sound barrier, further preventing the transmission of sound.
Actual effect: It reduces by 8-10 decibels compared to standard solid-wall pipes. The human ear's perception of sound is logarithmic. A reduction of 10 decibels results in approximately a halving of the loudness.
