Production process
Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) pipes are made from UHMWPE raw materials with a molecular weight of 2.5 million. First, the raw materials are dried. Then, the treated raw materials are added to the hopper of the extruder. The raw materials are conveyed forward by the rotation of the screw. During the conveying process, the raw materials pass through the heating zone of the barrel and are gradually heated to a viscous flow state. After that, they are extruded through a die with a specific shape to form the pipes.
Precautions for use
Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) pipes are suitable for use in environments with temperatures ranging from -269°C to 80°C, and the working pressure must not exceed the design pressure of the pipe body.
