CPVC power pipe, officially known as Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride Power Cable Protection Pipe, is mainly made of PVC-C resin with excellent heat resistance. It is a rigid and solid-walled pipe. Its appearance is a striking bright orange color, and the inner and outer walls are smooth and flat.
This type of pipe is an ideal alternative to traditional asbestos cable conduits and ordinary PVC pipes, and is particularly suitable for scenarios where high voltage is required and heat is generated during cable operation.

01.Excellent heat resistance

This is its most prominent feature. It can remain undistorted even in an environment with a temperature above 93℃, which is approximately 15℃ higher than the heat resistance temperature of ordinary UPVC pipes. It can effectively cope with the high temperatures generated during the overload and short circuit of power cables.

02.Super strong insulation performance

The material itself has a very high insulation strength and volume resistivity (volume resistivity ≥ 1.0x10¹³ Ω·cm), and can withstand voltages of over 30,000 volts, ensuring the safety of power transmission.

03.Outstanding pressure resistance performance

After material modification, the ring stiffness of the product can reach over 10 kpa, which is higher than the basic requirement of the state that the ring stiffness of buried plastic pipes should be above 8 kpa. Therefore, it can fully withstand the heavy pressure from the ground and the road surface.

04.Reliable flame retardant performance

It has the characteristic of self-extinguishing when away from fire. Especially for CPVC materials, with a high chlorine content, their flame retardancy and smoke density index are better than those of ordinary PVC, with an oxygen index of ≥ 38 - 40%.

05.Good impact resistance and corrosion resistance

It has strong resistance to low-temperature impact and can maintain its toughness even at 0℃. At the same time, it is resistant to corrosion by acids, alkalis, salts and other chemical substances, and is not afraid of erosion by the soil environment.

06.Convenient for construction and long service life

Light in weight (about 1/6 of that of steel pipes), it adopts an elastic sealing rubber ring for socket connection, which is easy to install and can effectively prevent groundwater leakage. It is corrosion-resistant and anti-aging, with a service life of up to 50 years or more.
